Fall

December 5, 2006
It's been a great six months. Autumn has grown another three
inches and reached new levels of cognition. We are so very proud
of her.
She spends more time on tasks, like drawing, making
paper hats, and playing her computer games. She asks more
questions than ever before, sometimes to the point of distraction.
And, she can make her own oatmeal for breakfast! Yes, our little
Autumn Boo is growing.
We've spent the past six months going on camping &
hiking trips, birthday & pool parties, Seaworld
& San Diego Zoo
visits, a Thomas family reunion & working on projects in the
backyard.
We camped at several nearby campgrounds using my newly
bought 'classic' pop-up camper: Hurkey
Creek near Idyllwild and William
Heise next to Julian. Both were very nice, but I think I preferred
Hurkey Creek. There was grass and nice mountain biking to be
had.
The backyard projects included finishing my wood-fired
pizza oven, a new shed, and an outdoor counter with
sink.
Autumn will turn five in January and she's already
talking about going to kindergarten. Of course, that won't be
until August.
She's very excited about Christmas this year, and asked
Santa for a scooter.
